I am energized by helping others feel understood, supported, and valued. I am passionate about working together to generate new ideas by simplifying complexity and clarifying a manageable path forward.
How I got here
For years, going with the flow and staying in line with the expectations I was handed was all I knew. While appearing capable and in control on the outside, on the inside I was hustling to feel confident while I figured out what I truly wanted out of life. Picture a swan - calm movement above water covering for swiftly paddling feet under the surface.
Was I objectively successful? Sure. A perfectionist, a people-pleaser? You bet!
I was also anxious, passive, and a bit lost.
So, what made the difference? Years of honest and, sometimes, uncomfortable conversations and feedback. I was encouraged to stretch beyond current expectations and reminded of my strengths. Eventually, I listened.
Today, I walk with less fear. I am more assertive and move with courage towards things anxiety kept out of reach. I credit solid, affirming personal relationships and mentors with my increased self-acceptance and confidence.
How I empower others
We chart a path together to strengthen your understanding of yourself and your close relationships. I help uncover what is important to you and, most importantly, what you can do to get more of what you need.
You will feel more confident in your ability to face individual and relationship challenges effectively.
Evidence-Based Practices I use: Insight-Oriented, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Therapies
